100,000 Venezuela Bolivares Banknote / 100,000 VES
UNCirculated Condition
Introducing the 100,000 Venezuela Bolivares Soberano banknote, commonly read as 100,000 VES. The 100,000 VES banknote is currently the fourth largest denomination of Venezuela Bolivar in printed circulation. The Central Bank of Venezuela (CBV) first issued the Bolivares on August 2018, stemming from the replacement of Bolívar Fuerte. Today, there is a total of 14 different VES banknote denominations in circulation, ranging from the 2 Bolivar note, up to and including this 100,000 VES banknote shown here.

This series Venezuela Bolivares was issued in 2018 to replace the Bolívar Fuerte currencies after the Fuerte re-denominated to meet needs of inflation, then later removed. The VES has continued to struggle to hold its value, as inflation continues in the country. Since 2018, the use of smaller denominations of VES have greatly decreased day-to-day commerce, although they are still recognized as legal tender. To date, the VES has experienced two replacements, the first being in 2008 and the last being in 2018; the first VES replacement was at a rate of 1:1,000 Fuerte to Soberano, while the second was at 100,000:1 valuation.
Though the Venezuela Bolivares is a monetized currency in Venezuela, because of the constantly growing inflation, it is currently the weakest known valued currency pegged to the U.S. Dollar with an enormous 3.43 Million Bolívars to $1 USD as of July 1, 2021. As a result, the Venezuela Bolivar holds mostly a collectible value throughout many countries. The VES banknotes have become extremely popular among collectors world wide, especially in the United States.
The Venezuela Bolivar currency is detailed with beautiful pastel colors, depicting National icons and political figures. Venezuela Bolivar currency is one of the fastest growing collectible currencies in popularity amongst U.S. collectors. The Venezuela Bolivar is detailed with colorful images of most important historical figures, and feature impressively modern security features considering the countries financial problems. All of this makes the Venezuela Bolivar Banknote a MUST HAVE addition to complete any collectible banknote portfolio!

OBVERSE (FRONT): Simon Bolivar; Simón José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar y Ponte Palacios y Blanco, also colloquially as El Libertador, or Liberator of America, was a Venezuelan military and political leader who led what are currently the countries of Venezuela, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Panama to independence from the Spanish Empire.
REVERSE: Táchira Antpitta; The Venezuelan tyrannulet is a species of passerine bird in the family Tyrannidae. It is found in northern Venezuela. On the left is the Venezuela Coat of arms with legend around.
The Venezuelan tyrannulet was formerly considered to be conspecific with Zimmerius improbus but the two species were split after a molecular phylogenetic study published in 2013 found that they were not closely related.
The current coat of arms of Venezuela was primarily approved by the Congress on April 18, 1836, undergoing small modifications through history, reaching the present version. The coat of arms was established in the Law of the National Flag, Shield and Anthem, passed on February 17, 1954, by the military governor of Venezuela, Marcos Pérez Jiménez.
SECURITY: Modern anti-counterfeit features, including watermarks, a security thread, raised letters, an optical variable ink and other variations to thwart counterfeiters. A watermark of Simon Bolivar is visible from both sides.
