$500 USD light Green Seal Banknote - Fine Condition Banknote.
(Five Hundred Dollar, Federal Reserve Banknote / 1934A Series)

Introducing this semi-low serial #, Fine (F) Condition US $500 banknote.  The Federal Reserve started issuing the small size $500 American Dollar banknote shown here, in 1928, and they were later withdrawn from circulation in July of 1969.  This series of five hundred dollars banknote features William McKinley, the 25th President of the United States.  The words ‘Federal Reserve Note – the United States of America’ are printed on the note.

The 1934 Five Hundred Dollar FRN banknote is highly desirable among collectors.  In fact, many collectors won't even consider themselves as "big league" until they manage to add a high denomination note to their portfolio.  In addition to the portrait of President McKinley, this historical piece of U.S. currency also features the signatures of the then Treasurer of the United States, William Alexander Julian, and Secretary of the Treasury, Henry Morgenthau Junior.  The reverse displays the classic numerical 500 with the "FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS" lettering centered below, and man is it a beautiful sight in person!

This particular banknote was issued by the bank of Philadelphia and printed though the Pennsylvania Federal reserve District.  This $500.00 banknote is currently legal tender, monetized U.S. paper money.  As with all currency and banknotes we sell, this banknote will also come with a Certificate of Authenticity, and Free US First Class Shipping.

THE GOOD:  This banknote features a visible serial number despite the moderate fading.  Semi-bold coloring with medium fading, two fully visible serial #'s, lower-grade paper stiffness as this note is not entirely limp.  All corners are still in good condition and are relatively square with no missing corners or corner-folds.  The edges of this banknote are still very straight, and show no signs of waving, cracks, or rips.  There are tears, rips, pin-holes, rust, heavy creases, missing pieces, or signs of any repairs.

THE BAD:  There is moderate color fading throughout the note, and moderate signs of soiling is also present.  There is one autograph/signature present, and only the first name is easily legible.  There is a small blue ink stain on the upper margin, but it does NOT reach down into the design face of the note.  The paper quality no longer has the original crispness, however the note does not flop of "pancake" when held.  Two heavy folds, one vertical and one horizontal, with light-moderate wrinkling.
