Located on this Afghani currency is the following text:

FRONT: Da Afghanistan Bank. There is a one color picture of the otherwise beautiful Blue Mosque located in Mazar-i-Sharif, with white birds on the ground and flying around. The number "1" is located on each of the four corners with the word "Afghani" located in the lower left corner. The note'she serial numbers located in the top left and lower right corners.

BACK: Da Afghanistan Bank Trademark Seal is to the center right of the note with two horns of "Gold Coins" spilling out of the horns. The Number "1" is located on the top and bottom left corners and on the lower right corner. Polictal signatures mark the center of the note.

Security Features: This note possesses the metallic internal strip. When looking at the front of the note, the metallic strip is located just to the right of the edge of the image of the Blue Mosque and should be BEFORE the lower right serial number.
