5 Dollar Zimbabwe Bond Banknote / 5 ZWL
Introducing the 5 Dollar Zimbabwe Bond banknote, commonly abbreviated as 5 ZWL. Zimbabwean bond notes are a form of banknote currently in circulation in Zimbabwe. The 5 ZWL Bond note is the newest series of paper currency issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. Today there is a total of 31 different ZWD banknote denominations, ranging from the smallest 1 Zimbabwe Dollar up to the 100 Trillion, including the new ZWL Bond Notes and Bond Coins.
The Zimbabwe ZWR Dollar was demonetized in 2015 after several years of fighting the countries Hyper-Inflation and slow, but inevitable economic collapse. In June of 2019, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe completely abolished the multiple currency system and replaced it with the new Zimbabwe Dollar. Throughout 2016 - 2019, the RBZ issued the $2, $5, $10 and $20 Zimbabwe ZWL Bond-Notes, which are backed by and pegged to the U.S. Dollar. The issuance of the ZWL bond notes as their own currency, indicates that the Zimbabwe Government is working hard to earn back the economic stability within their financial system.
Though the RBZ ZWR is no longer a monetized currency, the Zimbabwe Dollar banknotes have become extremely popular among collectors world wide. The new Bond Note series is quickly gaining in popularity among those same collectors. The Zimbabwe dollar banknotes are detailed with images of Zimbabwe's historic landmarks, a beautiful array of colors, and they are the worlds highest denomination of currency ever printed. All of this makes the Zimbabwe Dollar Banknotes a MUST HAVE addition to any collectible banknote portfolio, or even a perfect gift idea for that person who seems to already have everything. So be sure to add a few of these new Zimbabwe Bond Notes to your collection!

", appears in the center. The Zimbabwe bird, the Bateleur Eagle, appears inside of a star in the upper right corner. The Flame Lilly (Zimbabwe National Flower
), appears in a dotted cascading array from top to bottom vertically along the right side.
Cervus Camelopardalis; The African Giraffe seen grazing on grass foliage in the foreground with various types of Palms to their side. The Zimbabwe bird, the Bateleur Eagle, appears to the left of center with a dotted cascading diagonal trail of Flame Lilly. Perhaps the ultimate icon of the African savanna, the giraffe is an unmistakable land mammal known for its long neck, long legs and spotted coat. With nine subspecies sharing its distinctive characteristics, the giraffe is the tallest land animal and the largest ruminant on earth. The Bateleur is a medium-sized eagle, thought to be the "Zimbabwe Bird", the national emblem of Zimbabwe. The Bateleur is native to Africa and small parts of Arabia. The denomination "FIVE
", is spelled out inside the dark shaded box in the lower left corner. This can only be seen when holding up to a light, or by tilting the note to a 45 degree angle while viewing with a ultraviolet light source
. The Zimbabwe bird is blended into an orange star in the upper right corner, with a colour-shifting security strip to the right of Chiremba Balancing Rocks. Inside the security thread is vertically written "RBZ" by Electrotype. The banknotes denomination is printed in a rusted/reddish-orange optically variable ink which shifts colors when moving the banknote.
